We are delighted to announce that we will be doing a wine dinner on Friday 2/26th at the great Boulder restaurant Mateo. ( www.mateorestaurant.com ). Mateo will be doing a menu reflective of the wonderful French bistro fare that has distinguished them for the last 8 years. We will bring all the usual goodies along with a special treat or two. We do special one barrel lots (about 23 cases) for each of the girls, (Riley, Lola and Ruby) and for this dinner we will be featuring the 2007 Ruby’s Red Syrah (100% syrah from Ruby’s 800 vine block). Those of you who had the chance to taste the 2006 Riley’s Rows at the Frasca dinner last fall get the idea that these are very distinctive wines. We will send a follow up email once the menu and pricing is set, but save the date now!
We are looking forward to a terrific evening and are delighted at the opportunity to pair our wines with the delightful and focused cuisine of Mateo.
