Flanagan Wines. A Family Vineyard

(245 cases produced) This wine shows a wonderful, intense ruby color. The powerful yet harmonious nose reveals fresh crushed berries, cola, anis, strawberry essence, creamy and silky aromas combined with licorice. The bouquet is an invitation to taste and the wine does not disappoint. The attack is dense with a soft texture and layers of fruit. It expresses the finesse and harmony of a “grand vin”. The finish is vibrant, velvety, and long, with chewy tannins and intense ripe black fruit. This is a complete, balanced wine that reflects the power and beauty of the steep hillside vineyard site.

(47 cases produced) Riley has her own small block of 3 x 3 spaced Cabernet. In June 2001, when Riley was not quite 2, she helped us plant our very first vines. Riley’s made the label for this wine when she was 8 years old. The grapes for this vintage were harvested from Riley’s Rows in October 2006. This wine is 100% Cabernet and has a tremendously distinctive bouquet and flavor profile. It combines black currant, licorice and minerals. The mouth feel is just in perfect harmony – a combination of approachability with lush sweet characters and longevity with dark toast, black cherry and finishing with super fine grained tannins and lively fruit.

(53 cases produced) This wine has an amazing intensity of Asian spices that jump right at you. The wine is extremely rich, bold and seductive. This is a perfect expression of ripe Syrah, made with finesse and sophistication.

(24 cases produced) Lola has been playing in our vineyards since she was born. She loves climbing the big oak trees and fishing in the farm pond. Lola has her own small block of Chardonnay and we call it “Lola’s Lot”. This wine is made with the grapes from Lola’s second harvest in 2007. This chardonnay offers a lot of exotic/tropical notes of mangos, pears, vanilla intermixed with minerality, flowers and a perfect level of acidity. The wine finishes with huge length of coconut and passion fruits.
