Riley is joining me for most of the Zoom tastings. Starting in late July I will be getting back out on the road and Riley or Kit will be joining me for many of the events. I have limited the number of markets we are in so I can visit each of them and spend time with our friends and customers. Kit is taking over the Zoom channel on Saturday 8/15th at 4pm PST to talk about some of her current favorites. If you know Kit, then you know that she's going to start with the 2018 Viognier from Bennett Valley. Then she's uncorking both 2017 Platt Vineyard wines (Platt Chardonnay and Pinot Noir). Kit also loves the 2016 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir that is a blend of Gap's View, Sonoma Stage, Sun Chase, and Platt and will finish with that. This is a killer line up of wines and Kit has a lot more to commend her as a host than I do! Join me for our second annual visit to the historic Burge Plantation. Flanagan Club member (and my fraternity brother) Gaines White has created an opportunity for us to enjoy a spectacular night at Burge. JOin me and Riley at Hodges Bend in Tulsa on Monday night 8/17th at 6:45 pm for a great night hosted by two of our best friends in Oklahoma. TC LeRoy and Noah Bush are bringing the culinary team from Lowood over to Hodges Bend and serving up a great 3 course menu. Hog Island Oysters, the awesome Mike the Bejkr flatbread guy, and small bites from Chef Catherine Venturini all paired with our wines. The cost is $100 per person (discounted for Club Members) and proceeds go to support the Sonoma County 4Cs, which, operates 12 preschools for 600 children from lower income families in Sonoma County.
