The nose is dominated by a combination of black fruits and warm crushed rock with a hint of root beer. The palate is pure cassis and blackberry married with vanilla and cocoa. Rich, intense, and mouth coating, the 2012 Serenity Way is the ultimate expression of this site. This wine reminds me of the great Bordeaux wines of the 1990 vintage.
